Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy Dr. Sandiaga Uno joined Bhumi Varta Technology Founder Martyn Terpilowski and CEO Jullian Gaffar to discuss the role of Location Intelligence and Big Data Analytics in the fight against Covid-19 and the future recovery.
Location Intelligence is a sector with potential to actually benefit from the current pandemic as big data can be used to solve the issues of Governments and lead a dat driven economic recovery for the private sector also.
Mr. Terpilowski commented that 'execution and decisions in pandemics need to be quick to fully benefit from the technology available'.
Mr. Terpilowski said 'Going forward after the pandemic, a data driven approach to business is likely to be essential' and he believes it can 'bring about huge advancement in Indonesia'. He also believes 'that companies with an unwillingness to adapt, risk their business and that investment in Location Intelligence and Big Data Analytics, needs to be viewed as a revenue driver, not a cost'.
He stated his company vision is 'to be the number one Indonesian deep tech company and a world class Location Intelligence provider.
Now assembled in Indonesia: the new A 200 Sedan Progressive Line and GLA 200 AMG Line introduced at Mercedes-Benz STAR DRIVE 2021
Two new Mercedes-Benz compact cars and one Mercedes-AMG compact sports coupé were introduced to the public at Mercedes-Benz STAR DRIVE 2021 exhibition at Senayan City, Jakarta, on June 3, 2021.
After the successful launch of the compact A-Class Sedan in October 2019 and the GLA compact SUV in September 2020, PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia now introduces the locally-assembled Mercedes-Benz A 200 Sedan Progressive Line and the GLA 200 AMG Line. With the launch of the new A-Class Sedan and the new GLA, Mercedes-Benz now offers the largest portfolio of locally-assembled premium vehicles in Indonesia. The new A-Class, C-Class, E-Class and S-Class sedans and the new GLA, GLC, GLE and GLS SUVs are assembled at PT Mercedes-Benz Indonesia in Wanaherang, Bogor, West Java. The new A 200 Sedan Progressive Line and the new GLA 200 AMG Line can be ordered from now at the authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships and deliveries will start in July 2021.

The new A-Class Sedan and the new GLA are the highlight models at STAR DRIVE that takes place from Thursday, 3 June to Sunday, 6 June 2021. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz also introduced the new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Coupé for the first time to the public.
With STAR DRIVE 2021, Mercedes-Benz once again underlines its ongoing commitment by presenting Best-Customer-Experience to loyal customers and prospective buyers. At the event, Mercedes-Benz will showcase 10 Mercedes-Benz and 3 Mercedes-AMG models from various segments, such as Luxury Sedan, Compact Cars, SUVs, Vans and AMG performance cars at the Main Atrium and Promenade area at Senayan City. Moreover, the STAR DRIVE exhibition will provide 9 Mercedes-Benz cars and 3 Mercedes-Benz Certified cars for test drive, providing a first-hand experience to visitors driving their dream Mercedes-Benz cars.

For the safety of the customers and all parties involved, the Mercedes-Benz STAR DRIVE 2021 will follow strict health protocols at all times by implementing measures such as cleaning and the disinfection of display vehicles, providing hand sanitizers, wearing masks and gloves during the test drives and physical distancing with minimum 1.5 meters at the venue all times.
