Danone Indonesia Holds Vaccination for Employees, Supports Acceleration of National Health and Economic Recovery
Danone Indonesia, as a company in the essential industrial sector in the food and beverage sector, is committed to participating in Gotong Royong Vaccination for a Healthier Indonesia and Support Economic Recovery. On Thursday, June 17 at the Sentul International Convention Center, Danone Indonesia marked the implementation of the first stage of the Gotong Royong Vaccination that was given to 5,000 employees in the Greater Jakarta and West Java areas on 8 – 24 June 2021 through 17 vaccination points.
The Gotong Royong vaccination of Danone Indonesia was carried out in stages by prioritizing workers who are active and play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of production and product supply. The Company allocated more than 40,000 doses of vaccines for over 20,000 vaccine targets consisting of employees, employees families, and Danone’s business partners throughout Indonesia.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Danone in Indonesia has collaborated with the government, various institutions, hospitals, and social organizations to distribute assistance worth IDR 56 billion in the form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), medical equipment, and empowerment for the affected MSMEs. Danone has also distributed more than 200,000 healthy food packages to meet nutritional needs and more than 1 million bottles of AQUA and Mizone to support the hydration of medical personnel to vulnerable groups. In addition to the Gotong Royong vaccination, Danone Indonesia has also supported the government’s vaccination program targeting the elderly, public service workers, media workers, tourism industry workers, transportation workers, and retail partners in 13 cities in Indonesia and will continue to contribute to support the government in its efforts acceleration of vaccination coverage.
Vaccination of AXA Mandiri and Axa Employees
Employees of AXA Mandiri acquired their first vaccination at the Gotong Royong Vaccination Center organized by AXA Mandiri and Axa, 2 July 2021. More than 2.000 doses were given to employees and their family, as well as business partners in two days as a form of support by AXA Mandiri and AXA to the acceleration program of Covid-19 Vaccination.
In addition to the vaccination program that was organized for employees, their family, and the business partners, other vaccination programs have been conducted to clients of AXA Mandiri and AXA in Jakarta. In other occasion, on 25 dan 26 June, AXA mandiri jointly with Bank Mandiri and Mandiri InHealth organized vaccination center for the general public in Denpasar which was participated by almost 2.000 citizen of Bali, in order to support the government of Bali to recover to accelerate the economic recovery especially for the tourism sector that is affected by Covid-19.
Country CEO of AXA Indonesia, President Commissioner of AXA General Insurance, Commissioner of AXA Mandiri Financial Services, Julien Steimer said that these vaccination activities are commitment and real form of AXA Mandiri and AXA support to the government to accelerate herd immunity to fight the Covid-19. “With the spirit of #KnowYouCan in serving the public, we believe that Indonesia will be free from Covid-19 and that the national economy can recover,” said Julien.
