Government of Jakarta’s Workshop on Business Licensing

On 30 July 2019 EuroCham participated in a focus group discussion organized by the Provincial Government of Jakarta jointly with the support from the UK-Indonesia bilateral Regulatory Reform Programme. The group discussion is mostly attended by officials from the Jakarta’s Integrated One Stop Services (PTSP), but also attended by representatives from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, as well as relevant ministries and few representatives from the business sector. The overall discussion was moderated by Ms. Zoe Dayan as the Regulatory Reform Attache from the British Embassy in Jakarta. EuroCham in this meeting share its views on latest reform to simplify licensing process by the government, and also challenges experienced by member companies in the arrangement of business licensing, especially in the regional government level.
