Swedish Solution for Indonesian’s Smart Grid

On 23 April 2018 Eurocham Energy Working Group was invited to Seminar on Swedish Solution for Indonesian’s Smart Grid, organized in collaboration by Swedish Energy Agency with Smart Grid Indonesia Initiative (PJCI).

As a world leader in sustainable energy systems, Sweden is in the front line of cutting-edge technology. In its transition to greener energy sources and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, smart grid and energy efficiency are two priority areas for Sweden. The seminar aims to bring together Swedish companies with local stakeholders and learn more about the energy needs and challenges facing Indonesia, and potentially find local partners and distributors for their innovative energy solutions.

Clean Energy Investment Accelerator Indonesia Working Group

The Energy Working Group was invited to be part of the Clean Energy Investment Accelerator (CEIA), a public-private partnership initiative co-led by Allotrope Partners, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). This initiative advances policy and financing frameworks to meet the clean energy needs of corporate buyers in key emerging markets across the globe.

The kick-off meeting was held on 19 April 2018 attended by relevant stakeholders who could give insights on the regulatory framework, challenges faced, and companies who have pledged to RE100.
