Dentons HPRP Law & Regulation Outlook 2023: UU P2SK

EuroCham was cordially invited to “Dentons HPRP Law and Regulations Outlook 2023: Omnibus Law in the Financial Sector” that was held on February 20, 2023 at Shangri-La, Jakarta. The event was commenced by a keynote speech delivered by the Vice Minister of Finance, Suahasil Nazara. Topics that were discussed are anticipation of amendments of the Financial Sector Development and Reinforcement Law and ESG aspects in the financial sector, which were addressed by prominent speakers from the Financial Services Authority, Senior Economist of INDE, Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and many more.

The Financial Sector Development and Reinforcement Law (“UU P2SK”) is one of the government’s crucial measures in reforming and harmonizing laws and regulations in the financial sector. It is hoped that the supervision on non-bank financial institutions will be improved and financing for the green economy is encouraged. BKPM Event - Investing in Indonesia’s Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals sector - a Focus Group Discussion with European companies

On the 14th of February, EuroCham was invited to a Focus Group Discussion organized by Arise+ Indonesia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment, themed Investing in Indonesia’s Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Sector.

The discussion involved policy updates pertaining to the pharmaceutical and medical sectors, from government stakeholders, including Roy Himawan, Director of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Secturiy at the Ministry of Health, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, Deputy for Economic Affairs at the National Development Planning Agency, and representative from the Directorate General of Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Textile Industries of the Ministry of Industry.

The discussion was attended by European businesses in Indonesia, relevant local and foreign business associations, as well as investors in the healthcare sector.
