On May 29, EuroCham Indonesia collaborated with the European Union Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam to organize a seminar on The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and Its Implications for the Private Sector in Indonesia. The seminar aimed to provide businesses in Indonesia and the surrounding region with a comprehensive and actionable understanding of CBAM, including its requirements and necessary preparatory measures. The event started with opening remarks from H.E denis chaibi (EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam) and Gustaaf Reerink (Executive Board Member of EuroCham). The seminar was then followed by a keynote presentation from Vicente Hurtado Roa (Head of Unit at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union).
