Event Reports

On 7 February 2022, EuroCham, represented by Alvin Christian (Treasurer of EuroCham Board) and Omar Abdulkadir (Head of EuroCham Finance, Tax and Investment Working Group), was invited to a meeting with the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK). The meeting discussed future event collaborations focusing on current challenges of the financial services in the post-pandemic recovery. OJK was represented in this meeting by Hermawan B. Sasongko (Deputy Commissioner of International and Research), Rendra Idris (Head of International Affairs Department), and Arif Safarudin (Head of Integrated Data and Statistics Group) as well as other senior representatives of the agency.

On 27 January 2022, the EuroCham Tobacco Working Group met to coordinate the drafting process of the Tobacco Position Papers 2022. The meeting was chaired and co-chaired by Andre Setiawan of JTI and Anita Eka Lestari of Sampoerna in their capacity as the Head and Deputy Head of the Working Group. The meeting decided to provide a timeframe of two weeks for member companies to contribute to the drafting process of the Position Papers, before this draft is complied and further reviewed by the Working Group.
