Cross Sectoral Policy Meeting with Ministry of Finance on Taxation and Investment Regime

Following a policy meeting with the EuroCham Automotive group in previous week, on 23 May 2019 EuroCham again met Mr. Robert Marbun, Expert Staff of the Minister of Finance for State Revenue Policy to share views on taxation and investment regime of various sectors, including Transport and Logistics, Food and Beverages, and Retail. In his opening remarks, Mr. Robert explained the sole purpose of conducting a series of meetings with EuroCham is to encourage more investment by the various industries in Indonesia, in hope to make Indonesia as an export hub for the neighboring regions such as ASEAN countries and Australia. To achieve this of course the government must also listen to the concerns and proposals from the various European industry regarding especially investment regime as well as taxation policy.
