On 13 May 2022, the Head and Deputy of the EuroCham Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology Working Group organized a meeting to discuss upcoming group activities as well as refocusing topics of advocacy agenda for 2022. The Meeting was attended by the Head of the Working Group, Hanum Yahya (Country Head of Public Affairs, Communication and Patient Relations at Novartis), and her Deputy, Wulaning Putri (Head of Government Affairs and Business Development, Head of Quality Regulatory at Siemens Healthineers).

The EuroCham Cosmetics Working Group was invited by the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) as an observer to the 35th ASEAN Cosmetic Scientific Body (ACSB) Session, which was held online on 10-11 May 2022. The session was attended by Drh. Rachmi Setyorini, MKM (Director of Standardization of OTSKK) along with representatives from the Ministry of Health, BPOM technical units, and associations from the cosmetics industry.

Part of the agenda of the Meeting was to discuss Amendments to several EU Cosmetic Regulations that can possibly be adopted in the Annexes of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive; the safety of Climbazole in several products; Menthyl Anthranilate as sunscreen; information sharing documents on Cosmetic refilling, Cosmetics in vials and ampoules, and Personalized cosmetic products; as well as the definition of nano ingredients.
