Event Reports

A regular group meeting was held by the Energy Working Group on 28 February 2019 to discuss policy updates in the Energy Sector and also to discuss upcoming group activities. More than 30 representatives of various member companies attended the meeting that invited guest speakers namely Claus Nielsen as the CEO of PT. EQTEC Energy Indonesia and Agus Kismanto from the Center for Fuel Technology and Design Engineering - Agency of Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) who shared information and exchange views on conversion of waste to valuable products (KDV Technology).

The group met on 22 February 2019 to share the outcome of the latest policy meeting with the National Agency for Drug and Food Control (BPOM) to discuss requirements and implementation of 2D Barcode on products. Other topics were also discussed by the group during this meeting including latest status of the halal law implementation, few regulations currently being drafted by BPOM, as well as the progress of the cosmetic sector position papers.
