EuroCham Indonesia's Automotive Working Group held its regular Working Group meeting on 21 June at EuroCham's office in Jakarta.

The meeting discussed policy updates relevant to the automotive sector, including a sharing session with Lembaga Kebijakan Pengadaan Barang/Jasa Pemerintah (National Public Procurement Agency) regarding the implementation of the e-catalog system for Electric Vehicles, as well as updates on the Implementation of Commodity Balance, government incentives for electric vehicles through a range of ministerial regulations.

The meeting was chaired by Daniel Purba, Head of the Working Group and Associate Director of External Affairs at Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, followed by a dialogue with esteemed guest speakers from the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP), Ari Sulindra and Sri Utaminingsih, and was attended by members of the Automotive Working Group as well as the EuroCham Secretariat.

On 20 June EuroCham received the visit of Mr. Jonas Schneider (VF's Country Director) who is interested to know more about EuroCham Indonesia. At the meeting, it is discussed about the activities that EuroCham is doing and what kind of advocacy related to apparel, footwear, and accessories industries.
