EuroCham, represented by Edison Bako as the Executive Director, was cordially invited to APINDO Socialization on Economic Roadmap in 2024-2029 which is held for every 5 years to be handed to the next president. This economic roadmap contains policy intervention to support multi-sectoral development which includes macroeconomics and finance, sustainable international trade development, information and technology, manpower, and taxes.

As we approach the presidential election in 2024, the economic roadmap will help guide the next administration to address challenges and feedback from the private sector. Many thanks to APINDO for the invitation and insightful session.

On the 19th of October, EuroCham had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Fajry A., Head of Research at the Center for Indonesia Taxation Analysis (CITA), as the guest speaker for the Agriculture, Food and Beverage (AFB) Working Group Workshop at the EuroCham Office. The workshop was moderated by the Head of the Working Group, Ruly Rachman (Senior Manager of Public Affairs of PT Frisian Flag Indonesia). We are truly grateful for the valuable perspectives and insights shared by Mr. Fajry regarding the Sugar-Sweetened Beverages Taxation Policy and for sharing some of the best practices from other countries.
