On May 23, EuroCham was cordially invited by APINDO to the focus group discussion of 2024-2029 APINDO Economic Roadmap in the manpower sector. EuroCham shared some insights on the manpower sector to be included in the roadmap, such as ease of doing business for foreign workers and investors. EuroCham would like to thank APINDO for the invitation and we hope our input can be reflected in the publication.

EuroCham attended the Poland-Indonesia Trade Investment Forum, which was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Indonesia, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in Indonesia, and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). Distinguished keynote speakers included Wojciech Gerwel, the Polish Deputy Foreign Minister, and Jerry Sambuaga, the Vice Minister of Trade of Indonesia.

The significant points to stand out from the keynote speeches are the Indonesian Vice Minister of Trade's optimism for a successful conclusion of the ongoing Indonesia-EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA) negotiations this year, as well as the value that both Poland and Indonesia can derive from each other's experiences and journeys toward Net Zero and the application of Green Technologies Poland has to offer.
