BPOM invited EuroCham to be an observer at the ASEAN Cosmetics Committee Meeting on 24-25 May on hybrid. Acting as the ACC Chair, Hary Wahyu T - PFM Main Expert who chaired the meeting. The Indonesian delegation was led by Dwiana Andayani - Director of Registration of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics, conveyed Indonesia's input regarding the implementation of cosmetic regulations in Indonesia.

Some of the issues discussed in this meeting were Country Specific Requirements (CSR) related to notification number requirements, the Post Marketing Alert System (PMAS) associated with CSR, as well as plans for the ACC Special Meeting in October.

On May 23rd, EuroCham, and The World Bank held an online Zoom meeting to discuss import processing in Indonesia.

The meeting was attended by representatives from The World Bank: Lamiaa Bennis, Ian Thomas, Alina Monica Antoci, and Bayu Agnimaruto. EuroCham Indonesia’s members were represented by Dhedy Nugroho (Coca-Cola Europacific Partners), Ribut Tri Purwati (Unilever), Widya Herminingsih (Kerry Ingredients), Renata Suyono (Decathlon), and Devi Kusumaningtyas (NIKE), who shared their insights and inputs.
