On April 21, a team from Kerry Indonesia, a member of EuroCham, donated vitamin tablets for medical experts (doctors, nurse, hospital staff) that handled COVID-19 patients. While difficult to source, the team donated 100 boxes of vitamin tablets to the National Disaster Control Agency (BNPB) who will manage the distribution to the COVID-19 referral hospitals.

At the beginning of this month (April), AXA Mandiri, the joint venture life insurance company between AXA and Bank Mandiri, was entrusted by the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises to provide life protection to over 35,000 (thirty five thousand) health workers, who are involved in providing medical assistance during the season of COVID-19 pandemic. The symbolic provision of this insurance was presented by the president director of Bank Mandiri Royke Tumilaar, to the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Doctors Association, in the presence of Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Deputy Minister of SOEs Kartika Wirjoatmodjo and Director of Compliance AXA Mandiri Rudy Kamdani. Commenting on this collaboration, Julien STEIMER, Country CEO of AXA and Commissioner of AXA Mandiri remarked that being actively involved in protecting medial frontliners, AXA and AXA Mandiri are committed to support the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, so that this emergency situation can be brought under control and infected patients can recover more quickly.
