HSBC Indonesia granted a Green and Social Loan totaling USD 30 million to assist eFishery, an aquatech innovator and aquaculture intelligence pioneer startup in Indonesia. eFishery transforms conventional pond farming techniques and offers advanced solutions through integrated platforms that enables fish farmers to schedule and log feeding data and receive recommendations on sustainable farming practices. With support provided from HSBC, eFishery will be able to expand their eFeeder fleet, which will be rented to hundreds of thousands of small-scale fish farmers in their network. This fleet is expected to increase feed efficiency by up to 30% and production capacity by 25%.
