The manufacturing industries is entering a new era of Industry 4.0 which driven by digital technologies. Significant advances in technology, such as big data and analytics, Industrial Internet of Things, robotics and additive manufacturing, are shifting the capabilities and value proposition of global manufacturing. In order to be step ahead of the competition, manufacturers need to fully align their business strategies with these impending trends. Siemens is offering the new V15 version of the Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal which will shorten the time to market, increases the productivity of plant and provides broader flexibility to system integrators and machine builders as well as plant operators.

TIA Portal is more than an engineering framework from digital planning and integrated engineering to transparent operation and fully integrated device that provides customers with unrestricted access to our complete range of digitalized automation services. In short, it would help the customers to integrate all the systems needed in manufacturing plant.

“As the global leader in manufacturing automation systems, Siemens shared this advanced manufacturing technology to help customers in Indonesia in achieving their operational excellence. The TIA Portal V15 provides a wide array of new engineering options which will reduce the engineering time even more, allows to have process diagnostic and has a connection with other Siemens software which are part of our digital enterprise. These new options will benefit machine manufacturers and increases the productivity of end users.” stated Pascal Dricot, Act.
