The Mercedes-Benz Virtual Showroom is a Mercedes-Benz digital platform that can enhance the customer experience of choosing their dream car online. Can be accessed through www.mercedes-benz.co.id/virtual-showroom, this virtual showroom will provide the best and comprehensive experience for prospective buyers and customers in finding the availability of a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle, calculating financing options and requesting a quote directly from various authorized dealers.

Through the 5-year StarService, Mercedes-Benz provides five years of maintenance and service without any kilometer limitation. 5-year StarService comes with a one-year warranty for Mercedes-Benz vehicles purchased through authorized dealers. This new 5-year StarService service replaces the three-year Integrated Service Package (ISP) and is available for all Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, and Mercedes-Maybach models starting from April 2021. By offering 5-year StarService, Mercedes-Benz extends the sense of security of ownership to its customers and extends vehicle quality and safety assurance by providing Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts.

Ministry of Industry and Schneider Electric Strengthen Strategic Partnerships in Competency Improvement

The Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia together with Schneider Electric, a leading global company in energy management, automation and electricity protection, today again signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order to accelerate "Making Indonesia 4.0" focused on vocational programs and competency development of industry players in the application of the industrial revolution 4.0. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out in connection with the Hannover Messe 2021 exhibition in which Indonesia became an official partner country, and Schneider Electric Manufacturing Batam was appointed to represent Indonesia as the WEF Global Lighthouse Network in implementing smart factories in the manufacturing sector. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out by the Head of the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Arus Gunawan and the Director of Business Development Schneider Electric Indonesia, Mr. Syarief M. Reza witnessed by the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Dody Widodo.

The strategic collaboration this time includes 2 (two) areas, namely the development of the Industrial Digital Innovation Center 4.0 (PIDI 4.0) which includes the provision of trainers for "Industrial Digital Transformation 4.0", and the provision of product demonstrations and technological equipment; as well as the development of a Vocational Program which includes the creation of a university-level training curriculum related to "Basic Industry 4.0" and "Industrial Transformation 4.0 for the Textile & Clothing Industry", providing training to selected university lecturers and polytechnic teachers, as well as visits to Batam smart factories for participants who have complete the training program. Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said, as the official country partner of the Hannover Messe 2021, the Government of Indonesia will present various best examples in the application of industry 4.0 in Indonesia. This will open the world industry's view of Indonesia's great potential in forging partnerships towards industrial transformation 4.0. "The Ministry of Industry continues to encourage the involvement of industrial players in Indonesia in promoting Indonesia in the international arena. In the future, we will also continue to develop human resources through the construction of training centers and vocational curricula that are tailored to the competencies needed in the industrial era 4.0," said the Minister of Industry.
