EuroCham Indonesia, represented by Ibu Febianti from PZ Cussons as a member of the Cosmetic Working Group, attended the Public Consultation held by BPOM on 25 September 2025, led by Ibu Dian Putri Anggraeni, Director of Standardization for OTSKK. The session discussed two draft regulations; the Procedure for Cosmetic Notification Submission, and the Certification of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Cosmetics. The session provides a valuable platform for industry stakeholders to exchange insights and contribute to the development of clear, practical, and harmonized regulations to strengthen Indonesia’s cosmetic sector.

EuroCham was pleased to pay a courtesy visit to TotalEnergies at their office on 25 September. We were warmly hosted by Binu George (Country Manager), Dedy Ayunda (Sales Director, Renewables Distributed Generation), and Ababil Rao Akbar Fauzi (Sales Manager Distributed Generation Indonesia).

The meeting provided profound insights into TotalEnergies’ remarkable journey as one of Indonesia’s largest solar developers. A recurring and compelling theme was the unwavering commitment to full legal compliance and the end-to-end solutions, which stand as a significant strength and competitive advantage in the market.

The exchange offered valuable insights into the renewable energy landscape in Indonesia, from technology adoption and policy context to the opportunities for businesses exploring renewable energy solutions for a better world for all of us. This visit was a vital step to deepen our collaboration and enhance our understanding of the energy sector. It also equips us with valuable on-the-ground knowledge to better advocate for and inform our community about sustainable practices in Indonesia.
