INTA Policy Dialogue on IP Enforcement
EuroCham Indonesia was invited to participate and contribute to the INTA Policy Dialogue on IP Enforcement, organized by Rouse (member of EuroCham) and the International Trademark Association on 19 February at the Westin Hotel. The policy dialogue discussed conventional and e-commerce intellectual property enforcement challenges in Indonesia and deliberated on solutions to improve IP enforcement in the future.
The policy dialogue was co-led by Walter Chia (Asia Pacific Chief Representative of INTA) and Anom Wibowo (Director of Investigation and Dispute Resolution, at DGIP of the Ministry of Law & Human Rights). The policy dialogue involved members of the government’s IP enforcement task force, consisting of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, the DG of Customs and Excise, the Food & Drug Control Agency, the National Police Force, and DGIP
EuroCham was represented by Kin Wah Chow (Principal at Rouse Consulting and Deputy Head for IP, ICTIP Working Group), Nadira Tatyana (Policy Advocate) and Daniel Kandou (Policy Advocate).

EuroCham Cosmetic Sub-Working Group Meeting
On February 19th, EuroCham members from the Cosmetic Sub-Working Group, as a part of FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) Working Group, convened its first working group meeting this year at EuroCham's office and hybrid via Zoom
The meeting was led by Uti Daniawati M. (Head of FMCG Working Group & Regulatory Personal Care SEA Indonesia Lead of Unilever) and Resi Hardiyanti (EuroCham Advocacy Manager). The meeting focused on discussing recent regulatory updates relevant to the cosmetic sector, particularly addressing the latest issues for the upcoming EuroCham Position Paper for 2024.
