On 24 September, EuroCham co-hosted the EIBN Joint Oktoberfest 2025 at Paulaner Bräuhaus. This annual gathering celebrated tradition with authentic Bavarian food and drinks, live music, and a vibrant Oktoberfest atmosphere, offering an excellent opportunity for networking and meaningful connections within the European business community.

EuroCham Indonesia was honored to co-organize the seminar “Invest in Indonesia: Opportunities for EU Businesses” on 19 September 2025, held as a side event of Pamerindo’s Electric & Power Indonesia Exhibition. Together with the EU Desk at BKPM and Pamerindo, the session provided valuable insights into Indonesia’s investment climate and opportunities in key sectors such as renewable energy and power generation.

A key highlight was the comprehensive overview of investment policies and facilitation mechanisms presented by Carmelo Ferlito, Senior Trade & Investment Expert at the EU Desk, underscoring the vital partnership between BKPM and European investors.

The seminar also featured valuable insights into the renewable energy sector and a practical success story from PT Siemens Energy Indonesia, an esteemed member of EuroCham. The contribution from Bernard Ade Permatista, Head of Strategy and Market Development, provided a firsthand perspective on navigating the market and the tangible opportunities available.

As a co-organizer, EuroCham reinforced the commitment to bridge European industry with Indonesia’s growth agenda. The dialogue also underscored EuroCham’s continued commitment to fostering stronger EU-Indonesia investment ties and supporting a conducive business environment for sustainable and innovative growth.
