Socialization on Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No.5 of 2025
On March 11, EuroCham was pleased to attend an online socialization on Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) Regulation No. 5 of 2025 on guidelines for electricity purchase agreements from power plants utilizing renewable energy. The discussion on MEMR 5/2025 aims to provide legal certainty in the buying and selling of electricity, specifically regarding the payment schemes, risk allocations, and obligations of each party.
Public Hearing on draft amendment of MoF Regulation No. 35 of 2023

On March 11, EuroCham was pleased to be invited to an online public hearing on the draft amendment of MoF Regulation No. 35 of 2023 on Procedures for Submission of Certificate of Origin and/or Declaration of Origin of Goods in the Context of Imposing Import Duty Tariffs on Imported Goods Based on International Agreements or Agreements, hosted by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE).
This public consultation was aimed at evaluating the facilitation services of imported goods through free trade agreement leverage, specifically on the handover procedures of a Certificate of Origin, under the said regulation. It was commenced by a presentation from DGCE and concluded with a QnA session for the private sector.
