On May 4, EuroCham was invited by the National Agency of Food and Drug Control (BPOM) to attend the preparation meeting to examine the agenda to be discussed at the 37th ASEAN Cosmetic Scientific Body (ACSB). The ACSB meeting will be held on 8 - 9 May in a hybrid format. The preparation meeting discussed the agenda items for the ACSB Meeting and several draft information papers on safety assessment of acid orange as a coloring agent, Cosmetic Refilling Activity, cosmetics in vials and ampoules, and several EU Regulations in relation to cosmetics. The meeting was chaired by Yurita Amarya S, Apt., M.K.M (Coordinator of the Cosmetic Standardization Substance Group) and Dra. Mayagustina Andarini, Apt., M.Sc.

On May 4, EuroCham had the pleasure to meet the ASEAN Cluster General Manager of ADEN Group, Jean-François Trebillod. The Secretariat provided a brief update on EuroCham’s as well as ADEN’s activities in Indonesia and discussed business prospects in Indonesia along with prospective collaboration, mainly in the area of sustainability, for the future.
