EuroCham attended an offline seminar held by SSEK with the title of “Mandatory Insurance for Employers of Short-Term Expatriate Workers” with Rizky Junianto from the Ministry of Manpower as a speaker and moderated by Stephen Igor Warokka, partner of SSEK. This seminar stressed the importance of mandatory insurance for expatriate workers while working in Indonesia and discussed the technical side of work permits and insurance registration. The discussion is concluded with inquiries from participants and closing remarks from Stephen Igor Warokka.

On 22 September, EuroCham attended the Socialization of Commodity Balance for Steel, Alloy Steel and Their Derivative Products held by the Directorate of Metal Industry, Ministry of Industry. The socialization was in light of the implementation of Phase 2 of the Commodity Balance as regulated under Presidential Regulation No. 32 of 2022 which encourages for companies to submit their Deman Plans by 30 September 2022.
