Energy WG Meeting
On 29 September 2022, the Energy Working Group held a monthly meeting at EuroCham’s office to discuss about the new renewable energy policy, Presidential Regulation No. 112 of 2022. Frederic Draps, our Board Patron, presented his insight on the new regulation.
We welcome the involvement and action of the President of Indonesia to align the Government stakeholders. It will now be important to maintain the momentum and continue with coordinated implementing regulations as well as the capacity tendering process. EuroCham as a unified voice of European business in Indonesia is looking forward to supporting the Government of Indonesia in the process of energy transition.
Thank you to Frederic Draps and all the participants for the fruitful discussion. See you in the next Energy Working Group!
BPOM Socialization Event on BPOM Regulation No. 19 of 2022 on Guidelines of Health Supplement Claims
EuroCham attended the socialization held by the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) on Regulation No. 19 of 2022 regarding guidance for health supplement claims. The socialization was led by Rachmi Setyorini, Director of Standardization of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics.
BPOM Regulation No. 19 of 2022 is to implement Law No. 11 of 2020, Government Regulation No. 5 of 2021 and BPOM Regulation No. 10 of 2021 concerning Risk-Based Business Licensing for the Drug and Food Sector.
This regulation offers convenience for business actors in providing legal certainty and a clearer guide in terms of submitting claims for health supplement products and supporting data that must be completed in the context of preparing health supplement registration requirements.
