EuroCham Cosmetics Working Group held a regular meeting through a teleconference call on 23 April 2020. Following an introduction of Mr. Edison Bako, the new EuroCham Executive Director, the group exchanges updates related to Halal policy and several Cosmetics regulations. In addition, the group also shared the Covid-19 developments as well as the impact caused by the pandemic to the Cosmetics sector in Indonesia. The overall meeting was chaired by Uti Daniawati Mahanani as the head of the working group, and attended by 26 participants from various companies.

On Tuesday 21 April 2020, the EuroCham Tobacco Working Group held an online regular group meeting. The meeting was chaired by the head of working group, Andre Setiyawan. During the meeting, EuroCham new Executive Director, Edison Bako, introduced his roles in the EuroCham Secretariat.

The meeting then discussed a number of Covid-19 related topics. First, the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) No. 1 of 2020 on State Financial Policy and Financial System Stability for Handling the Covid-19 Pandemic. Second, Fiscal Stimulus for Taxpayers Impacted by Corona Virus (MOF Regulation No. 23/PMK.03/2020) and Plan for Non-Fiscal Stimulus related to Impact of Corona Virus. Third, several policy changes related to Covid-19 pandemic.In addiditon, the group also discussed the progress of Tobacco Position Paper 2020.
