On 11 November, a task force within the Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology Working Group held a meeting with the EU Business Avenue to organize the upcoming event on “Healthcare & Medical Technologies Market Insights by Industry Experts”, that will be held in the first week of December 2020. As a background, EU Business Avenues is a European Commission funded program to assist EU companies, specifically small and medium enterprises, to establish long-term business partnerships in Southeast Asia. The purpose of the meeting was to get the EuroCham insights and explore potential collaborations on the event arrangement, as well as explore potential stakeholders to involve as speakers for the session.

In response to a request from the Organization for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD) for Clean Energy Finance and Investment Mobilisation program for a meeting, the EuroCham Energy Task Force facilitated a discussion on 12 November. Chaired by Thomas Wagner (Head of Energy Working Group), the meeting aimed to get the view on OECD program and some of the challenges faced by EU investors in the clean energy sector. At the end of the meeting, the OECD was provided with a copy of EuroCham Energy position paper 2020 for their insight, particularly related to the energy sector issue in Indonesia.
