Socialization of Minister of Finance Regulation on Imposition of Import Duty Tariffs based on ATIGA, ACFTA, ANKFTA, AANZFTA, and AIFTA
EuroCham was invited to a socialization event organized by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise to disseminate the latest information on the Draft Minister of Finance Regulations on procedures for imposition of import duty tariff based on the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA), the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA), the ASEAN-Korea FTA (AKFTA), the ASEAN-Australian-New Zeland FTA (AANZFTA), and the ASEAN-India FTA (AIFTA). The Meeting was conducted virtually on 9 October 2020 and invited relevant companies as participants. A number of representatives from the EuroCham Import-Export Procedures Working Group, as well as the EuroCham Automotive Working Group participated in this meeting to observe main changes ton be introduced through the new regulations.
Energy Leader’s Dinner
After some delays brought about by the pandemic, the Energy Working Group was able to once again hold a dinner meeting, which was a coordination meeting that was convened on 6 October 2020 with a fair mix of participants that attended either directly or online. Hosted by David Cullerier (EuroCham Board Patron for the Energy Working Group), the dinner was also attended by Thomas Wagner (Head of Energy Working Group), and other Deputies: Eva Pitterling, Frederic Fontan, Miroslav Dijakovic, and Omar Abdulkadir. Various topics were discussed, including the draft of Presidential Regulation in the sector, the Renewable Bill, the recently passed Omnibus Law, and also activities currently in the pipeline for the Group in coming months.
