Event Reports

The Cosmetics Working Group met on 18 February 2020 at EuroCham Office. The meeting was to provide regulatory updates on Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 75 of 2019 on Waste Reduction Roadmap by Producers, the National Agency for Food and Drug Control (BPOM) Regulation No. 26 of 2019 on Mechanism of Monitoring Cosmetics Effects, Head of BPOM Regulation No. 12 of 2019 on Contamination on Cosmetics. The meeting also discussed upcoming plans for this year, as well as decide on few priority issues that should be covered in the 2020 Position Paper.

Energy Working Group just had a joint meeting with Asosiasi Biogas Indonesia (ABgI) on 14 February 2020 at EU Delegation Office. The group collected inputs about the Feed in Tariff (FiT) for Biogas which is related to Draft Presidential Regulation on New Renewable Energy currently in the finalization stage. Moreover, the group also discussed policy needed to support Bio-Compressed Natural Gas (BioCNG) including the tariff to attract businesses in Indonesia
