Energy Working Group Meeting
On 28 March 2019, EuroCham Energy Working Group held its regular bi-monthly meeting to discuss the Group leadership structure in 2018 and 2019. This meeting also shared latest policy updates, and coordinates upcoming activities as well as events. The meeting revisited Energy Dinner 2019 event that was held earlier in the month. The overall meeting was Chaired by Thomas Wagner, the incumbent Head of EuroCham Energy Working Group, and the meeting agreed to keep the working group leadership for another year.
The leadership team for energy working group is as the following:
· Board Patron: Wichard Von Harrach (Jawa Power)
· Head of Working Group: Thomas Wagner (Envitec Biogas)
· Deputy for Energy Efficiency: Eva Pitterling (TUV Nord)
· Deputy for Fiscal Regime: Omar Abdulkadir (Price Waterhouse Cooper)
· Deputy for O&G, Geothermal: Christophe Compte (Engie)
· Deputy for Power Generation: Frederic Fontan (EDF)
· Deputy for Renewable Energy: Miroslav Dijakovic (Cleantech Solar)
Lastly the meeting also appointed Special Envoy on particular focus issues, concerning Energy Efficiency, Waste to Energy, Small Islands Electrification, and Higher Environmental Standards.
Finance, Tax & Investment Working Group
The Finance, Tax and Investment Working Group held their regular meeting on 26 March 2019. The main topic of discussion was Transfer Pricing considerations in Indonesia, presented by Peter Hohtoulas from PricewaterhouseCoopers Indonesia. Not only did the members obtain latest updates on Transfer Pricing implementation, the interactive session also allowed them to participate in the discussion. EuroCham very much appreciated all invited guest speaker, as well as Ginting & Reksodiputro (in association with Allen & Overy) for hosting the meeting.
