On 6 March 2018, the Transport and Logistics Working Group held a coordination meeting with the Indonesia Logistics and Freight Forwarders Association (ALFI) to finalize a study on VAT in International Freight Forwarding Services. This study is drafted by request by the Fiscal Policy Agency of Ministry of Finance and will be presented accordingly in a joint meeting with Directorate General of Tax.

Human Resources Member Forum held their second meeting on 6 March at EuroCham Office. The meeting was attended by 15 participants, mostly were Human Resources department at their respective office. The main agenda of the meeting is discussion on advocacy on short-term foreign worker. As a follow up on the EU-Indonesia Business Dialogue on Movement of Natural Person, the Member Forum discussed on possible join advocacy effort with APINDO in addressing the issue.

Previously before the meeting, the members have sent their inputs in regards to type of position for short-term foreign worker that need to have more simple procedure from the Ministry of Manpower. The members were also asked to provide specification of each job that they are proposing. These inputs are expected to be forwarded to APINDO. The next HR member forum meeting is scheduled to be conducted in May 2018.
