EuroCham Energy Working Group was invited to attend the Focus Group Discussion (FDG) held by Ministry of Finance on March 21, 2018, to discuss about fiscal incentives scheme for renewable energy.

Referring to PMK No.21/PMK.011/2010 the Ministry of Finance has actually provided fiscal incentives for renewable energy in the format of tax allowance and duty exemption for duty. However the National Fiscal Policy (BKF) claims that currently the utilization of such facilities are still low. The FGD tries to identify the reason behind, where it is lack of socialization or any technical difficulties in implementation or simply not attractive to motivate the business player enough.

On 20 March 2018, the Transport and Logistics Working Group continues the ongoing joint assessment on provisions under the Minister of Finance Regulation No. 158/PMK.04/2017 on the Delivery of Inward Notices, Inward Manifests and Outward Manifests. The meeting aims to identify main concerns as well as joint recommendations from the industry that could be proposed to the Directorate General of Customs. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Yigit Saricinar (DB Schenker) as the Deputy Head of EuroCham Transport & Logistics Working Group, and co-hosted by the Indonesia Logistics and Freight Forwarder Association (ALFI), which was represented by Mr. Arman Yahya (Head of ALFI Soekarno-Hatta Region). The meeting also invited few airlines companies, as well as ground handling company.
