A Task Force on Taxation under the Transport and Logistics Working Group held a meeting on 9 March 2018 to coordinate and discuss updates on EuroCham proposals on VAT in International Freight Forwarding Services and minimum capital increase for Freight Forwarders. The meeting also invited an external speaker from Mitra Pajakku who presented updates regarding the road map for development of electronic tax application in Indonesia, which includes development of host to host system, e-billing, and e-tax certificate (e-bukti potong) systems.

On 6 March 2018, the Transport and Logistics Working Group held a coordination meeting with the Indonesia Logistics and Freight Forwarders Association (ALFI) to finalize a study on VAT in International Freight Forwarding Services. This study is drafted by request by the Fiscal Policy Agency of Ministry of Finance and will be presented accordingly in a joint meeting with Directorate General of Tax.
