On September 18, EuroCham was delighted to be invited to attend the Airbus booth (an esteemed member of EuroCham) at the Bali Airshow 2024.

At the event, we had the opportunity to meet with the Airbus team: Anand Stanley (President of Airbus Asia Pacific), Dani Adriananta (President Director of Airbus Indonesia), and Albert Ishak (COO of Airbus Indonesia). During the meeting, we discussed how EuroCham Indonesia and Airbus can collaborate to further enhance the impact of European companies on aviation in Indonesia.

On September 17, Eurocham had the privilege to participate in an insightful webinar hosted by the European Business Organization Network (EBOWN) on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D).

With the European Council's adoption of the directive earlier this year, businesses are facing transformative changes in their operations, requiring thorough due diligence across supply chains to ensure the protection of human rights and the environment.

The webinar, expertly moderated by Adam Dunnett (EBOWN Deputy Chair & Secretary-General of EBO China), featured key presentations from Dan Dionisie (Head of Unit at European Commission’s DG Justice) and Antony Crockett (Partner at Herbert Smith Freehills). This event provided critical insights into the directive and the strategies businesses can adopt for effective compliance.
