Invited to Tetra Pak Event “Innovation Starts Here”

On 20th June, EuroCham was delighted to be invited by Tetra Pak, a member of EuroCham, with the theme "Innovation Starts Here" held at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta. Through this event, Tetra Pak as the world's leading food and beverage processing and packaging company shows its readiness to innovate and develop the Ready-to-Drink Beverage Market in the Asian market.

The event was opened with keynote speeches by Michael Wu (Managing Director of Tetra Pak Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines & Indonesia), Julia Luscher (Tetra Pak Vice President of Marketing), and Jillian Chen (Senior Consultant at Mintel APAC). The speakers highlighted the importance of prioritizing innovation in responding to the opportunities and challenges within the industry.

Subsequently, we were invited to look through Tetra Pak's innovation booth in which they present their latest insights and solutions on end-to-end solutions and marketing services that ensure safety, convenience, and sustainability for food, people, and the planet.

We would like to thank Tetra Pak for inviting us to this exploration of the future of food and beverage. We hope Tetra Pak continues to innovate in sustaining and accelerating the growth of the industry.

EuroCham & Deloitte Joint Event “Transfer Pricing: Controversy Management Prevention & Resolution”

On June 14th, EuroCham Indonesia, in collaboration with Deloitte Indonesia, hosted a seminar titled "Transfer Pricing: Controversy Management and Prevention" at the Deloitte Office. The event commenced with opening remarks from Omar Abdulkadir, Head of the FTI Working Group, and Roy David Kiantiong, Partner and National Pricing Leader at Deloitte. The seminar featured distinguished speakers: Shivaji Das (Partner and Senior Technical Adviser), Rahul Batheja (Director of Technical Advisory), and Kania Iryanindiati (Senior Manager).

The discussion addressed various transfer pricing issues pertinent to multinational companies, providing an in-depth analysis of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs). Additionally, it offered valuable insights on strategies to prevent and resolve transfer pricing disputes.
