On 18 October, EuroCham attended a webinar organized by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The webinar, presented by the Chairman of OJK, Mahendra Siregar, highlighted the contribution of OJK and Financial Services Institutions in achieving the carbon neutral target in 2060 through a series of policies in the Financial Services Sector, such as supporting the development of the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) ecosystem. One of OJK’s key initiatives is issuing a circular letter urging the banking sector to support the growth of the automotive industry and the acceleration program for battery-based electric motor vehicles.

On 12 October, the Human Resources Working Group held a meeting at the SSEK Indonesian Legal Consultants Office to talk about the current talent trends in Indonesia. The Group invited Tiffany Adriani, from Monroe Consulting Group, to share her insights on the current talent trends in Indonesia and the South East Asian region. It was an impactful and informative session with the discussion focusing on attracting and retaining candidates.

With the ever-changing market dynamics, having the right people at the right time is crucial for any company. By understanding the hiring trends, businesses can leverage their talent management strategy ahead of their competitors for 2023 and beyond.
