On the 29th of October EuroCham was invited to a discussion event titled: How to Secure Energy-Efficient Operations.

The event was hosted by Royal HaskoningDHV. The event panelist discussion on energy efficiency was featured by Surendro (Regional Senior Programme Manager, C40 Cities Group), Sabat Tri Harjono (Sustainability Lead, Indonesia, Givaudan) and Devika Parbhoesingh (Global Business Development Manager, Royal HaskoningDHV).

Important discussions covered key topics including Indonesia’s energy challenges, data-driven strategies for optimizing energy efficiency, and designing sustainable operations at local and regional levels. The panelists shared practical approaches to improving energy monitoring, explored innovative frameworks for energy-efficient operations, and highlighted the importance of aligning business practices with sustainability goals.

On October 28, EuroCham Chemical Working Group had the pleasure of holding a policy meeting with the team from Ditjen IKFT (Directorate General of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile Industries) at the Ministry of Industry, led by Bapak Raditya Eka Permana (Head of the Facilitation Working Team for the Institutionalization of the National Authority for Chemical Weapons and Chemical Management).

The meeting opened with remarks from Edison Bako (EuroCham Executive Director) and proceeded with a discussion led by Erike Yanidia (Head of the Chemical Working Group). The meeting discussed the developments of the Draft Government Regulation on the Management of Hazardous and Toxic Materials.
