On the 23rd of October, EuroCham was delighted to meet with Pasi Rajender from the Embassy of Finland to Indonesia. The meeting provided an introduction to EuroCham and our advocacy work, along with an in-depth discussion regarding the health sector, import/export restrictions, and local requirements. We extend our thanks to the Embassy of Finland for the visit and look forward to potential collaborations in the near future.

EuroCham Indonesia was honored to visit Merck Indonesia, an esteemed Gold member of EuroCham, for their Rooftop Solar Panel Inauguration on October 22 in Pasar Rebo, Jakarta.

As part of their ongoing commitment to drive energy transition and reduce carbon footprints, Merck Indonesia installed rooftop solar panels on their factory, with a capacity of 473.9 kWp, span area of 2,100 square meters, and is projected to generate approx. 594.3 MWh of electricity annually. Moreover, Merck has purchased green energy through Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from state owned electricity enterprise, PLN Persero.

The inauguration ceremony was opened by Arryo Aritrixso Wachjuwidajat (Site Director of Merck) and Lambok Siregar (Project Director of PLN Indonesia Geothermal), and attended by representatives from the District Government and business associations.
