Just Energy Transition Roundtable

On the 20th of June, EuroCham was invited to attend a Just Energy Transition roundtable discussion titled “Collaboration on Opportunities Between Team Europe and Indonesia for Just Energy Transition.” The event began with opening remarks from H.E Denis Chaibi (EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam) and H.E Rachmat Kaimuddin (Deputy Coordinating Minister for the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investments). The event features an insightful panel discussion pertaining to investment opportunities for the energy transition in Indonesia, featuring Ir. Wiluyo Kusdwiharto (Director of Project Management and New Renewable Energy of PLN), Thomas Wagner (Head of EuroCham Energy Working Group and Chief Representative of Envitec), Dr. Nurkholis, S.Sos., M.Si (Head of East Java Energy Agency of Dinas MEMR, and Syaloom H.D. Korompis (Head of Investment Agency - Department of Investment and Integrated Services North Sulawesi).

Moreover, the seminar disseminates the LPEM-EUCD collab on “Promoting Just Energy Transition” featuring Khoirunurrofik, Ph.D (Head of Public Finance and Development Planning LPEM FEB UI), Henriette Faergemann (First Counsellor, Environment, Climate Action and ICT from EU Delegation to Indonesia), Robert Groenen (Deputy of the Energy Working Group and Business Developer & Project Manager Renewable Energy of Pondera), and dr. Harrison, M. Kes. (Governor of West Kalimantan Province). The session disseminates the LPEM-EUCD collab on “Promoting Just Energy Transition '' and opportunities for energy transition in Indonesia.

Invited to Tetra Pak Event “Innovation Starts Here”

On 20th June, EuroCham was delighted to be invited by Tetra Pak, a member of EuroCham, with the theme "Innovation Starts Here" held at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta. Through this event, Tetra Pak as the world's leading food and beverage processing and packaging company shows its readiness to innovate and develop the Ready-to-Drink Beverage Market in the Asian market.

The event was opened with keynote speeches by Michael Wu (Managing Director of Tetra Pak Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines & Indonesia), Julia Luscher (Tetra Pak Vice President of Marketing), and Jillian Chen (Senior Consultant at Mintel APAC). The speakers highlighted the importance of prioritizing innovation in responding to the opportunities and challenges within the industry.

Subsequently, we were invited to look through Tetra Pak's innovation booth in which they present their latest insights and solutions on end-to-end solutions and marketing services that ensure safety, convenience, and sustainability for food, people, and the planet.

We would like to thank Tetra Pak for inviting us to this exploration of the future of food and beverage. We hope Tetra Pak continues to innovate in sustaining and accelerating the growth of the industry.
