EuroCham was invited by the Directorate for Standardization of Traditional Medicine, Health Supplements and Cosmetics to public consultation on BPOM Regulation No. 15 of 2024 and BPOM Regulation No. 16 of 2024 which was conducted on October 24, 2024. Participants consisted of representatives of related ministries/institutions, business associations, non-governmental organizations, professional associations, representatives of academics/universities, and business actors in the field of Health Supplements and Cosmetics

One of the purposes of the event is to give information on the changes in the maximum limit of Selenium per day as a Health Supplement for Pregnant Women covered in BPOM Regulation No. 15 of 2024 and the contamination limits for cosmetic products covered in BPOM Regulation No. 16 of 2024.

It is hoped that with the presence of these new regulations, it can support the achievement of safe, efficacious, and quality Health Supplement and Cosmetic products.

EuroCham attended the CEO Round Table “Politics and Economics in the Prabowo Era,” hosted by Vriens & Partners, on 24 October. The event provided insight into the recently inaugurated Red & White Cabinet and its political and economic implications for the private sector.

The roundtable featured Dr. Yose Rizal Damuri (Executive Director, Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Indonesia) and Arief Budiman (Vriens & Partners' Political Advisor), and was moderated by dr. phil. Shiskha Prabawaningtyas (Director, Paramadina Graduate School of Diplomacy).
