On June 14th, EuroCham Indonesia, in collaboration with Deloitte Indonesia, hosted a seminar titled "Transfer Pricing: Controversy Management and Prevention" at the Deloitte Office. The event commenced with opening remarks from Omar Abdulkadir, Head of the FTI Working Group, and Roy David Kiantiong, Partner and National Pricing Leader at Deloitte. The seminar featured distinguished speakers: Shivaji Das (Partner and Senior Technical Adviser), Rahul Batheja (Director of Technical Advisory), and Kania Iryanindiati (Senior Manager).

The discussion addressed various transfer pricing issues pertinent to multinational companies, providing an in-depth analysis of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs). Additionally, it offered valuable insights on strategies to prevent and resolve transfer pricing disputes.

On June 12, EuroCham Indonesia held its halal policy meeting with the Halal Product Assurance Body (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH)) under the theme "Towards Halal Indonesia: Increasing Global Competitiveness."

The event commenced with opening remarks from Uti Daniawati M. (Head of the FMCG Working Group and Regulatory Affairs Manager Home Care and Personal Care at Unilever) who outlined the importance of regulatory commitment and compliance in halal products to maintain business integrity.

This was followed by a presentation from Ibu Siti Aminah (Head of Certification and International Relations at BPJPH) who shared insights on the latest policies and regulations pertinent to halal certification. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session with EuroCham members, moderated by Widya Herminingsih (Regulatory Affairs at Kerry).
