On October 9, EuroCham was honored to be invited to the press conference for the launch of “Meet the World with SKF”, the world’s largest global youth football tournament, which was featured the Chairman of the Indonesia Football Association (PSSI). SKF, an esteemed EuroCham Gold Member, strongly supports the Indonesian youth football team to participate at the Gothia Cup 2025 in Sweden. This press conference was opened by Satheswaran Mayachandaran, President Director of SKF Indonesia, who expressed SKF’s commitment by putting forward 4C’s elements; collaboration, care, courage, and curiosity.

With such high participation enthusiasm from hundreds of teams, the preliminary qualifications will be held in 6 cities. One of the teams who will represent Indonesia is the Papua Football Academy. It is hoped that this tournament can be a sustainable platform to develop young Indonesian football athletes. EuroCham would like to thank SKF for the invitation

On the 7 & 8 of October, EuroCham was invited to the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) SDGs Annual Conference 2024. Carrying the theme of, "Innovation towards a Golden Indonesia: Linkage of Quality Education, Jobs, and Green Industry," the event seeks to strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration in accelerating the achievement of SDGs in Indonesia.

The event featured two days of panel speakers that discussed the achievement of SDGs and ways to further strengthen this in future.
