EuroCham was invited to join the Socialization of Foreign Halal Certificate Registration System (RSHLN) conducted by the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) on 25th April. The system is intended to register the Halal certification from LHLN that has a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with BPJPH.

The socialization is held to receive inputs from businesses on the system that is currently developed by BPJPH. It is expected that the system could run officially before October 2024 to facilitate businesses that have received Halal Certification from LHLN who have made MRA with BPJPH.

On 25th April, EuroCham's Energy Working Group held its meeting at the EuroCham's office.

In this meeting, the Working Group held its Energy Working Group Leaders election, in which the members agreed to elect Thomas Wagner (Head of Working Group), Omar Abdulkadir (Deputy Head of Fiscal Policy in Energy), Miroslav Dijakovic (Deputy Head of Renewable Energy), Thomas Dreesen (Deputy Head of Energy Efficiency, I Made Aditya Suryawidya (Deputy Head of Power Sector), and Robbert Groenen (Deputy Head of Just Energy Transition Partnership).

The Working Group is eager to expand the scope of issues in the energy sector to be discussed in the group as well as intensify the collaborations between government stakeholders for the upcoming meetings.
