Integrating Corporate Social Responsibility and Maritime Industry Workshop

On June 3rd, EuroCham Indonesia was delighted to be invited to the Integrating Corporate Social Responsibility and Maritime Industry workshop held by the Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia and Malaysia.

The event featured a presentation by the Danish Regional Advisor on Responsible & Sustainable Value Chain that outlined EU regulations on CSR. This was then followed by a presentation that highlighted Indonesia's regulations, specifically the regulation on CSR & Good Corporate Governance from Kementerian BUMN and the regulation on Marine Biodiversity Protection & Controlling Marine Pollution from the Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan.

The event was followed by presentations from companies and associations. With representatives from Pertamina International Shipping Pte Ltd Shipping, PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (PELINDO), Indonesian National Shipowners' Association Association (INSA), and MAN Energy Solutions.

We would like to thank the Danish Embassy for inviting us to this event. We hope this event will push forward the integration of CSR and the maritime industry.

Greek National Day Reception and 75 Years Greece-Indonesia Relations Celebration

On the 30th of April, EuroCham Indonesia was invited by the Embassy of Greece in Jakarta to celebrate the Independence Day of Greece and the 75th Anniversary of Greece - Indonesia Relations. The reception was held at the Usmar Ismail Theatre.

The event was opened by H.E. Stella Bezirtzoglou, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, and Teten Masduki, Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia. The event featured performances from Greek Operatic Singer, Christophoros Stamboglis, and Indonesian Pianist, Ary Sutedja.
