Automotive Working Group Meeting

On March 5th, the Automotive Working Group held its first meeting at the EuroCham Office.

This kickoff meeting focused on outlining the working group's activities for the year and discussing ongoing advocacy efforts related to the sector. Key topics included the development of Indonesian National Standards for automotive components, import policies, and tax incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles in Indonesia.

During the meeting, the working group was proud to announce the appointment of Ibu Nitya Wulandari (Head of Public Affairs at Michelin Indonesia) as the Deputy Head of the Working Group. Congratulations to Ibu Nitya on her new role, and we look forward to her contributions to advancing the group’s objectives!

Finance, Tax & Investment (FTI) Working Group

On March 5th, EuroCham Indonesia, in collaboration with Deloitte Indonesia, held a seminar on the Global Minimum Tax as part of the Finance, Tax, and Investment (FTI) Working Group. The seminar was opened by Alexander Grenz (Interim Chairman of EuroCham and Board Patron of the FTI WG) and Omar Abdulkadir (Head of the FTI WG).

The session featured expert speakers from Deloitte Indonesia, including Cindy Sukiman (Indonesia Tax & Legal Leader) and Mr. Taufan Andiko (Tax Director). They provided in-depth insights into the newly implemented Global Minimum Tax regulation (PMK 136/2024), followed by a Q&A session with the members.
