Eurocham Pharma & Medtech Working Group conducted its bi-monthly meeting on 3 October 2017. Hosted at Novartis Office, the meeting elaborated relevant policy updates, and follow up in regards to Halal Law implementation and local content formulation.

The meeting also shared the progress development on Position Paper 2017 of the working group and survey for EU-Indonesia Economic Relations Study result so far. By the closing date of the survey, 12 out of 18 Pharma companies listed in the working group distribution list were participating, which is the highest participation rate compare to other working group sector.

Eurocham Energy Working Group was invited to participate in the KADIN National Coordination Meeting on 3 October 2017. The meeting aimed to align and synergize the strategy of KADIN with Government of Indonesia, through the formulation of inputs and recommendations.

Energy Working Group, representing by the Head of Working Group Mr. Thomas Wagner, involved in the Cluster 1 that covered Energy, Mineral Resources, and Environment. The session also attended by the relevant government representative who could immediately respond and had lively discussion pertinent with the subject matter. All formulated inputs and recommendations were symbolically handed over to President Jokowi who closed the meeting in the afternoon.
