On April 23, EuroCham Indonesia had the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to EuroCham Singapore in its office, hosted by Eva Vincetic (Advocacy & Membership Manager). During this meeting, both parties shared the structure of respective organizations, current policy on trade and economy, and business challenges that need to be advocated. EuroCham Indonesia would like to express its gratitude to EuroCham Singapore for hosting the meeting.

EuroCham Indonesia was thrilled to be invited to the EBO Sustainability Summit 2024 from April 3rd to 4th in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Summit commenced with opening remarks from Martin Brisson (Executive Director of EuroCham Cambodia) and Marc Beckmann (Project Director at GIZ Fabric).

The first day started off with a series of expert presentations regarding the sustainability landscape in Asia, as well as introductions from all representatives of the European chambers regarding their sustainability initiatives and programs.

On the second day, each representative from the European chambers had to develop individual and collaborative sustainable action plans for the upcoming years, with themes highlighting gender equality, mitigating Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) risks, and promoting knowledge-sharing between public and private sectors. The Summit ended with an eventful field trip to the GOMI Recycling Plant to gain firsthand experience in plastic waste recycling.
