EuroCham Indonesia attended the Focus Group Discussion on the Role of Foreign Direct Investment to Support Medical Device Resiliency & Autonomy organized by Himpunan Pengembangan Alat Kesehatan Indonesia on 4 March 2024.

The FGD discussed the opportunities to increase the attractiveness of MD investment in Indonesia while supporting medical device resiliency and autonomy in Indonesia; recommendations and steps on policies to attract foreign direct investment. EuroCham participated in Session 4 of the FGD and was represented by Deputy Head of the Healthcare Working Group, Efraim Ariesandy (Head of Market Access at Fresenius Medical Care Asia-Pacific).

On March 4, EuroCham attended a Minister of Industry Regulation No. 4/2024 Socialization hosted by the Directorate of Downstream Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry, Ministry of Industry. The socialization highlighted the general flowchart for the submission of Technical Consideration (Pertimbangan Teknis/Pertek) and Import Approval (Persetujuan Impor/PI) through the integrated system SINSW.
