EuroCham Indonesia held its Annual Consultative Board Meeting on 22 June at The St. Regis Jakarta, which invited the Ambassadors and its representatives from several European countries and in the presence of members of EuroCham Indonesia’s Board and Working Group Leaders.

The meeting, which was opened by Marika Jakas on behalf of EU Ambassador and Chaired by EuroCham’s Chairman Francois de Maricourt, provided the unique opportunity to share EuroCham Indonesia’s advocacy work and achievements and the European diplomatic corps can share its concerns, efforts and ideas to collaborate in EuroCham’s advocacy.

EuroCham would like to thank all of the diplomatic representatives as well as the working group leaders that attended the meeting.

On 31 May, EuroCham, jointly with AmCham Indonesia, SwissCham, US-ABC, EU-ABC, and in collaboration with IPMG, met with Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, Head of Working Committee of Health Bill, Commission IX of the House of Representatives of Indonesia.

The meeting, led by Evie Yulin, President Director of Merck Tbk & Board Member of EuroCham, discussed the remaining concerns and issues of the Health Bill that may impact the pharmaceutical and medical device industry in Indonesia, as well as the progress update of the Health Bill.
