On October 11th, 2023, EuroCham Indonesia welcomed Amine Kamel (ASEAN Vice President of Business Development and Strategy), Pirmin Riegger (President Director of Bosch Indonesia), Amos Choy (Executive Assistant to the President, Southeast Asia), and Citra Tiara Permata Rizki (Head of Corporate Communications & Government Relations), from Bosch ASEAN at EuroCham office.

Both EuroCham Indonesia and Bosch ASEAN had a fruitful discussion on the current business climate in Indonesia, along with policy and economic trends encountered by foreign companies and investors in Indonesia. EuroCham Chairman, Francois de Maricourt (President Director of HSBC Indonesia), and Head of the Automotive Working Group, Daniel Purba (Head of External Affairs at Mercedes-Benz Indonesia) shared their insights on current business and industry trends in Indonesia, also EuroCham’s role in advocacy in supporting better business climate.

On October 11th, 2023, EuroCham Indonesia was invited to attend the HSBC Summit 2023 in Navigating Indonesia’s Path: Insight for Today, Visions for Tomorrow at St. Regis Jakarta.

CEO of HSBC Indonesia, Francois de Mariocourt gave his welcoming remarks, followed by keynote speeches from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, H.E Airlangga Hartanto and the Expert Staff of Financial Services and Capital Markets of Kementerian Keuangan Indonesia, Mr. Arief Wibisono. The HSBC Summit 2023 highlighted some of the important issues such as strategies for growth to increase Indonesia’s economic resilience and implementation of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG).
