On September 26, the EuroCham Energy Working Group held its monthly meeting, hosted at PT. TÜV NORD Indonesia office (an esteemed member of EuroCham).

The meeting was opened by the Head of the Working Group, Thomas Wagner, followed by a presentation from Oliver Glatow and Satrio Prillianto of the PT. The TÜV NORD Indonesia team is working on accessing export markets for biomethane, e-fuels, hydrogen, biofuels, and the associated certifications.

On 25 September 2024, the EuroCham IP Subgroup of the ICTIP Working Group met with representatives from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) at the Danish Embassy in Jakarta. The meeting focused on the current priorities of the group concerning Indonesia’s intellectual property (IP) framework and its enforcement, as well as the practices and policies implemented in Denmark.

The discussion provided valuable insights into effective IP enforcement, with both sides exchanging best practices. The EuroCham was represented by Deputy Head, Kin Wah Chow (Principal at Rouse Indonesia), Evi Triana (Partner at Rouse Indonesia), and Nadira Tatyana (Research Assistant at EuroCham Indonesia). Representing Denmark were Sidsel Marie, Sector Counsellor for Maritime and IPR at the Danish Embassy, and Michael Poulsen, Head of International Cooperation Department at DKPTO.
