Socialization of Minister of Industry Regulation on Import of Complementary Goods, Market Test, After Sales
EuroCham Indonesia participated in the socialization of the draft Minister of Industry regarding the import of complementary goods, market test, and after-sales virtually on 2 April 2024.
The socialization was organized by the Directorate General of Resilience, Regional and International Industrial Access (KPAII) Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, and led by Binoni Tio A. Napitupulu, Director of Resilience and Industrial Business Climate.
KADIN: Task Force Formation to Provide Input to the Local Content Calculation for Medical Devices
On 27 March, EuroCham Healthcare Working Group attended a coordination meeting by KADIN on the formation of a task force to provide a review, analysis, and recommendation to the Ministry of Industry on the local content calculation of medical devices as governed under the Minister of Industry Regulation No. 31 of 2022 on Provisions and Procedures for Calculating Local Content Value for Medical Devices and In Vitro Diagnostic.
The task force consists of representatives from KADIN, Gakeslab, HIPELKI, ASPAKI, APACMed, US-ABC, and AmCham. EuroCham Indonesia was represented by Efraim Ariesandy, Deputy Head of the Healthcare Working Group and Head of Market Access at Fresenius Medical Care Indonesia.
