EuroCham Indonesia was pleased to become a Network Partner as well as contribute to the Global Human Capital Summit "Shaping Talents of the Future For a Resilient and Innovative ASEAN" by Global Indonesia Professionals' Association (GIPA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supported by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, held on 22 August 2023.

Opening Remarks were opened by Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary General of ASEAN, Ambassador Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dharsono Hartono, Chairman of KADIN Indonesia Net Zero Hub and Legacy Lead of ASEAN Business Advisory Council.

Our Chairman, Francois de Maricourt, was one of the speakers in a panel discussion segment focusing on Green Infrastructure, Investment, and Net Zero. Our Chairman delivered the importance of collaboration and partnership between all stakeholders to achieve Indonesia's Net Zero target by 2060.

EuroCham Indonesia met with the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with Southeast Asia on 8 August to provide European businesses' perspective and position on doing business in Southeast Asia, as well as the development of the free trade agreements in the region with the EU.

The DASE Committee consisted of Daniel Caspary MEP (Member of the European Parliament), Tsvetelina Penkova (Member of the European Parliament), and Danilo Oscar Lancini (Member of the European Parliament).

EuroCham Indonesia was represented by Gustaaf Reerink (Board Member), Edison Bako (Executive Director), Devi KUSUMANINGTYAS (Director of Government and Public Affairs at Nike), Ruly Rachman (Head of Agriculture, Food & Beverage Working Group & Senior Public Affairs Manager at PT Frisian Flag Indonesia), and Daniel Kandou (Policy Advocate). Our partner EU-ASEAN Business Council, represented by Chris Humphrey (Executive Director), was also present at the meeting.
