EU-ASEAN Business Council launched their Business Sentiment Survey publication at the networking night event in collaboration with EuroCham Indonesia, supported by Hukumonline.com on August 1 at Ayana Jakarta.

During the event, Gustaaf Reerink (Board Member of EuroCham Indonesia), Jens Ruebbert (Chairman of EU-ABC), and Mevi Hariyanti (Enterprise Solutions Sales Manager at Hukumonline.com) gave their remarks, followed by Chris Humphrey (Executive Director of EU-ABC) presenting the Business Sentiment Survey results, in summary:

● 63% see ASEAN as the region of best economic opportunity over the next 5 years

● 73% believe that the European Union should pursue a region-to-region FTA with ASEAN

EuroCham Indonesia organized an exclusive farewell dinner in honor of Ambassador Vincent Piket of the EU Delegation for Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam on 31 August that was attended by a select group of members from the EuroCham Board, the EuroCham Working Group Heads, and our partners from the EU-ASEAN Business Council. It has indeed been an honor to work with Ambassador Piket who has been very supportive and instrumental in EuroCham’s growth and worked hard to enhance EU-Indonesia relations during his term in Indonesia.
