On the 4th of November, EuroCham was invited by the Directorate of Standardization of Traditional Medicines, Health Supplements and Cosmetics of BPOM (Indonesian Food and Drug Agency) to participate in a socialization regarding Procedures for Submitting the Cosmetic Notifications and Public Consultantion on the Draft Regulation to revise BPOM Regulation regarding Guidelines for Product Information Documents. The meeting was intended as a platform for BPOM to share the new regulation as well as planned regulation to related stakeholders so as to gain feedback and inputs from the industries’ perspective.

EuroCham warmly welcomed Leticia (Tisha) Boatman (Senior Vice President of Global Access to Healthcare) and Wulaning Putri (Head of Government Affairs and Business Development) from Siemens Healthineers, a member of EuroCham Indonesia, on November 3rd. The Secretariat provided a brief presentation on EuroCham’s advocacy work and had an in-depth discussion on the regulations pertaining to the local content requirement and the accessibility of the healthcare system in Indonesia.
