On 27 February, EuroCham was invited to attend the socialization of Minister of Industry Regulation No. 6 of 2024 regarding Procedure for issuance of Technical Considerations for Importing Electronic Products. The event was initiated by the Ministry of Industry to explain the implementation of the new regulation.

On February 22, the Automotive Working Group held its first Working Group meeting of the year at the EuroCham office in Jakarta.

The meeting was chaired by Daniel Purba, Head of the Automotive Working Group and Head of External Affairs at Mercedes-Benz Indonesia. The Working Group discussed policy developments concerning battery electric vehicles for the forthcoming year, as well as regulatory updates on current import policies.
